about

Realized in New York at EastSide Sound Studio

Voted one of the best 100 Albums of 2019.

"Important Life" takes its name from the track that closes the album and is produced by Marco Marzola the Italian double bassist and composer (now resident in London) to celebrate the meeting with US trombonist Steve Turre.
Several times companion in recording in studio and live with some of the greatest international musicians (Ray Charles, Carlos Santana, Herbie Hancock, Woody Shaw, Dizy Gillespie and many others), Turre doesn't need too many presentations and also known for the art of playing the shells, is considered today one of the greatest
trombonists in activity.
